Why should you hire a courtroom lawyer if you'd rather settle your case than go to court? The answer is simple. Your adversaries aren’t fools. The likelihood of success out of court increases when the other side fears defeat in court. Common sense dictates that the best lawyers in court are the ones with the most experience. Deputy District Attorneys (like those in San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties, for example) go to court more often than other lawyers. As a result, they have the most courtroom experience.

Lawsuits in superior court (business disputes, auto accidents, harassment, government tort claims, employment cases, and will and trust contests) on the other hand, can be highly technical. The lawyers with the most experience in those cases are insurance company lawyers. Insurance companies pay their lawyers to spend hours reviewing business records, contracts, reports, medical charts and employment records. Insurance defense firms win cases by having their lawyers understand the technical issues in a case better than the other side. What insurance company lawyers lack in courtroom expertise they make up for with documentary, technical, and procedural knowledge & experience.

The combination of thousands of hours of experience in court and insurance training is as rare as it is effective. Pasquali Law offers both.

Rolando Pasquali is a former San Francisco Deputy District Attorney who never lost a homicide or a life sentence jury trial. During 10 years as a prosecutor, he handled fraud, hit and run, rape, auto accident death, and even murder cases. He is a former Oakland insurance defense attorney who took numerous depositions, got claims thrown out of court on procedural grounds, and saved insurance companies money in successful arbitration. Mr. Pasquali has experience in auto accident, wrongful death, product defect, government tort claims, construction site, pedestrian, bicycle, motorcycle, sexual abuse, premises liability, fraud, and probate litigation. He has tried lawsuits in San Mateo, San Jose, San Francisco, Hayward, and Oakland. He is a former Burlingame Civil Service Commissioner and Civil Service Commission Chairman. Rolando Pasquali handles employment cases including discrimination, harassment, and wage & hour disputes.

This office proudly invites you to view testimonials by former clients, review original articles in the office's on-line library, inspect a resume of legal credentials, and learn about a passion for courtroom advocacy which sets this office apart from the rest.
